Logging in with Codeberg is optional. If you use it, letterpost stores your Codeberg user ID, and at sign-up the email address and name that Codeberg reports. Signing up this way only works with an email address that Codeberg has verified. letterpost keeps no Codeberg access tokens.

Captchas on forms

Form owners can protect a form with Cloudflare Turnstile or Friendly Captcha, using their own account with the provider. The captcha runs on the owner's website in the visitor's browser. To check it, letterpost sends the captcha's token to that provider, without the visitor's IP address. letterpost stores which provider a form uses, its site key and its secret key, encrypted.
